Job Descriptions
A. Effective Delivery of Clinical Services
01) Ensure, in collaboration with the Clinic Manager and Resident MO, and in conjunction with relevant training programs, that nursing services at the site are delivered effectively within the established Clinical Service Plans and aligned with other facility and program activities and initiatives.
02) Provide leadership to support and coordinate the requirements of programs operating within the facility (connecting with program leaders on a regular basis), and escalates clinical delivery issues as necessary.
03) Asses and implement development plans for nursing staff to better provide optimum patient care and service flow.
B. Quality Improvement: And Utilization Monitoring
04) Monitor and ensure compliance with the Global Doctors based quality targets. Be aware of and support program priority quality targets related to the Hospital.
05) Support and promote International Standards of care / initiatives.
06) Assist in ensuring that nursing staff practices are aligned with other facility and program activities and initiatives.
07) Promotes and restores patients' health by developing day-to-day management and long-term planning of the patient care area; directing and developing staff; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staffs.
08) Ensure effective processes and mechanisms are in place to encourage best practices and improve clinical outcomes and quality.
09) Promote and support efficient patient access and flow between departments.
C. Operational Roles
10) Maintains nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
11) Maintains nursing operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
12) Assures quality of care by developing and interpreting clinic and nursing division's philosophies and standards of care; enforcing adherence to state board of nursing and state nurse practice act requirements and to other governing agency regulations; measuring health outcomes against standards; making or recommending adjustments.
13) Completes patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing and staff; following up on work results.
14) Maintains nursing staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
15) Maintains safe and clean working environment by designing and implementing procedures, rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from other health care professionals.
16) Protects patients and employees by developing and interpreting infection-control policies and protocols; enforcing medication administration, storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
17) Maintains documentation of patient care services by auditing patient and department records.
18) Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Job Requirements
01) Bachelor Degree in Nursing or other relevant field.
02) Minimum 5 years of experienced in Public/Private institution.
03) Full registration cert (LJM) with Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia.
04) Good command of English & Malay (spoken and written).
05) Results oriented, strong follow up and good negotiation skills.
06) Pleasant personality and able to interact all level of people.
