Job Responsibilities
01) Liaising with internal departments to ensure shipments are on schedule.
02) Liaising and coordinating with shipping agents/ logistics company for shipments arrangement.
03) Close shipments monitoring.
04) Work with team members to complete duties as and when needed.
05) Prepare monthly reports.
06) Strong and persistent driver of continuos improvement for both services and
costs.
07) Responsible for the sales activity targets.
08) Doing market studies and analysis.
09) Rates sourcing and negotiation.
10) Monitor supplier performance.
11) Shall take additional responsibility as instructed by the immediate superior.
12) The scope of authority shall refer to the selected work process procedure instruction.
13) Ensure familiarity with the company’s Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies and comply with employee’s responsibilities.
14) Comply with company’s policy, procedures and instructions at all time.
15) Effective working relationships for both internal [colleagues across various departments] & external [suppliers] are important parts of daily working life.
Job Requirements
01) Candidates must possess at least Degree preferable in Supply Chain/Business Management/Logistics or any fields or equivalent from reputable universities.
02) Good command of spoken and written in English & Malay.
03) Pleasant personality and able to interact with all level of people.
04) Results oriented, analytical, self motivator and independent.
05) Strong competency in research, competitive-intelligence analysis and forecasting.
06) Proficient in computer skills, e.g. Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint & etc).
07) Knowledge of SAP system will be an added advantage.
08) Able to travel when required and possess own transportation would be an added advantage.
