Job Responsibilities
1) Objectively appraises the reliability of internal controls, systems, procedures, financial statement and identifying key risks areas and lapses for improvement and monitoring corrective actions.
2) Report significant issues related to the business and operational processes for controlling the activities of Group together with recommendations for improvements by preparing periodic audit reports summarizing results of audit activities and follow-up reports on timely basis.
3) Review and report on the accuracy, timeline and relevance of the financial information and financial report provided for management.
System Audit.
4) Objectively appraises the systems used are adequately controlled to ensure valid, reliable, timely and secure input, processing and output at all levels of a system’s activity.
5) Verify if that the systems under development meet the objectives of the organization, and to ensure that the systems are developed in accordance with generally accepted standards for system development.
6) Objectively appraises the many systems used are adequately integrated to ensure valid, reliable and consistent data are being used across departments.
Job Requirements
1) At least studying in the academic filed relating to Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Economics.
2) Have an intention to become an internal auditor after completion of internship.
3) Able to carry out audit fieldworks independently by referring to audit programmes/audit checklist/guidance provided by IA GM/Manager in effective and efficient manners.
4) Possess strong analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
5) Able to converse and write in English and Mandarin.
6) Able to present audit issues to Management during Exit Meeting.
7) Possess own transport and willing to travel within Malaysia, China & Thailand.
8) Possess the knowledge of Windows and MS Office applications.
9) Good command of English & Malay (spoken and written).
10) Results oriented, strong follow up and good negotiation skills.
11) Pleasant personality and able to interact all level of people.
