Job Descriptions

Job Responsibilities
01) Responsible for a team of warehouse officials to perform materials receiving, put away of incoming materials and slitting and kitting of materials/parts for issuance to work orders.
02) Plan and allocate given resources effectively and efficiently to meet internal and external customers’ needs.
03) Ensure material movements transactions are performed accurately and timely in SAP.
04) Coach and mentor warehouse officials to perform job duties in accordance to company policy and ISO procedures.
05) Liaise with internal customers and stakeholders to resolve issues.
06) Carry out regular daily inspection of work areas and ensure good housekeeping.
07) Ensure cycle counts are performed timely per SAP schedule and perform reconciliation and investigation on inventory variances.
08) Ensure periodic preventive maintenance and checks are carried out with proper records on material handling equipment and pallets racks in the warehouse.
09) Review and maintain employee clocking records.
10) Ensure smooth daily operations and take steps to ensure that necessary KPIs are met.
11) Implement SOPs and best practices in the warehouse.
12) Lead and implement improvement projects in the warehouse to improve productivity and quality and reduce cost.
13) Prepare monthly operations reports for management review.
14) Oversee and review implementation of department initiatives.
15) Manage department budgets and ensure optimal budget utilization.
16) Assist in internal and external audits and stock take exercise.
17) Shall take additional responsibility as instructed by the immediate Superior.
18) The scope of authority shall refer to the selected work process procedure / instruction.

Job Requirements
01) At least a Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years of working experience in the related field.
02) Able to operate forklift and reach truck will be an added advantage.
03) An appropriate supervisory or warehousing qualification would be advantageous.
04) A good working knowledge of health and safety and security requirements.
05) Good command of English & Malay (spoken and written).
06) Willing to work overtimes on weekend or public holiday.
07) Good Interpersonal and communication skills.
08) Membership of an appropriate professional body would be advantageous
09) Have valid license Class D or Class E with GDL would be advantageous.
